The Dead Zone, Stephen King
First edition, first printing, signed by King to the flyleaf just a few weeks after publication (9/19/79). A very collectible copy of King's seventh novel, his first to reach the top ten bestseller charts, and basis for both a film and television adaptation. Scarce signed.
New York: The Viking Press, 1979. Publisher's black cloth over paper-covered boards, spine lettered in gilt; pp. (xvi), 426. A near fine copy in a near fine, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square, minimal wear to boards, appearing unread. Jacket shows a tiny chip to front panel, else just traces of shelfwear and a faint stain to verso. Very presentable, protected in archival mylar.
