First British edition, first printing of this seminal collection of modern weird horror fiction. Signed by Ligotti to the title page. This edition preceded the US hardcover edition but followed the very scarce Silver Scarab Press edition from 1986, which was limited to 300 copies. Scarce, particularly signed. 

London: Robinson Publishing, 1989. Publisher's original illustrated wraps; pp. x, 275. A near fine copy. Binding sturdy, spine uncreased, internally clean and lightly toned, just traces of shelfwear and rubbing to wraps.
