Anatomy of Me, Fannie Hurst

First edition, first printing of Hurst's memoir, signed and inscribed by Hurst on the flyleaf to Susan Wagner, the then first lady of NYC, and the her husband Robert Wagner, the mayor of NYC from 1954-1965. New York: Doubleday & Company, 1958. Front hinge cracked from the signing, but still sound. Minor wear to boards, internally clean. The unclipped dust jacket shows shelfwear and rubbing, with a few closed tears and light chipping, protected in archival mylar. A very good copy with a unique association.
