Second edition, following the rare mimeographed publication by Kerl Germer in 1953 under the title "The Gospel According to St. Bernard Shaw" of which less than 200 were printed. A fascinating study of Christianity by Crowley, this edition includes an introduction by Francis King and is quite uncommon. At the rear of the book is the text of the Crowleyan sex magick ritual, "De Arte Magica" [Liber CDXIV]. This had presumably inadvertently been omitted from "The Secret Rituals of the O.T.O." which was released by the same editor and publisher in the preceding year, and was therefore added as an appendix to this publication, even though it has no actual relevance to this volume.

London: C. W. Daniel Ltd., 1974, 1974. Bound in the original red cloth boards, spine lettered in gilt; pp. 232. An about very good copy in a like dust jacket. Binding firm, bump near spine crown else minimal wear to boards. Faint discoloration to the top of the rear board with a light stain to the top edge of text block and a smaller one to foredge, neither of which impact the interior of the pages. Faint offsetting to endpapers, else internally clean. Jacket shows light shelfwear and toning with an unobstrusive dampstain along the top edge, price rubbed off. A nice copy, increasingly scarce, protected in archival mylar.
