Lowell, founder of the Lowell Observatory in Arizona, was a pioneering figure in early planetary astronomy, best remembered for his studies of Mars and for initiating the search that led to the discovery of Pluto.

A very good copy. Binding remains firm and square, over opened just a touch at a few points. Minor shelfwear to boards, front plate (Saturn) loose, scattered instances of toning/offsetting from notes being left in the pages, else internally clean.
