Tim O'Brien

First edition, first printing of O'Brien's first book, an autobiographical account of his tour of duty in the Vietnam War. Signed and inscribed by O'Brien to the title page and also signed to the front panel of the dust jacket.

New York: Delacorte Press, 1973. Publisher's original original green paper boards over beige spine cloth stamped in black; pp. [viii], 199. An about near fine copy in a near fine, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square with minimal wear to boards. Previous owner's inscription to the half-title, else internally clean. Jacket remains bright with very minor shelfwear, faint light crease to front panel, protected in archival mylar. Very presentable, scarce with two signatures.
