First UK edition, first printing of O'Connor's first collection of short stories, published two years prior in the US under the title 'A Good Man is Hard to Find.' Housed in a custom slipcase.

London: Neville Spearman, 1957. Publisher's original orange cloth, spine lettered in gilt; pp. 251. An about near fine copy in a very good or better, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains sturdy and square, a touch overopened at the title page, minimal wear to boards. Internally clean. Jacket shows light general shelfwear with a couple minor scuffs to back panel, spine a touch sunned. A nice copy, protected in archival mylar.
