New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1988. Publisher's original cream colored paper-covered boards over cloth spine, lettered in gilt; pp. [x], 448, [4]. A very good or better copy in a near fine, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square. Minimal wear to boards with light softening to spine tips. An area of dark rubbing and foxing to top edge of text block. Internally clean and fine. Jacket shows just a hint of shelfwear, protected in archival mylar.
