New York: Random House, 1957. Publisher's original green cloth with author's initials in gold on the front, spine lettered in black and gold; pp. viii, 1168, [3]. A near fine copy in a very good or better, price-clipped dust jacket. Jacket is the first state, with the "10/57" date code to front flap. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square, tiny bump to top edge of text block, light rubbing to black spine compartment. Internally clean with no markings. Jacket shows minor shelfwear, mainly at the spine crown. A very presentable copy, protected in archival mylar.
