All and Everything, G. Gurdjieff
First UK edition, first printing of Gurdjieff's most well known philosophical work, being the first entry in a planned trilogy, the final two which were published posthumously. This book contains three works under the title 'An Objectively Impartial Criticism of the Life of Man, or, Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson' and is a lengthy allegory that recounts the explanations of Beelzebub to his grandson concerning the beings of the planet Earth and laws which govern the universe. It provides a vast platform for Gurdjieff's deeply considered philosophy. This, the UK first edition, is quite scarce, particularly in the dust jacket.
