The Hindu Pantheon, Edward Moor

Introduction by Manly P. Hall

Limited edition reproduction of the first and most complete exposition of the religious iconography of India, first published in London in 1810, here with a new introduction by Manly P. Hall. The Hindu Pantheon was illustrated with examples from Moor's own collection of Hindu artifacts, which are currently displayed in the British Museum and was significant as it sought to dispel any European preconceptions that Hinduism was a largely primitive pagan religion.
