Federal Bureau of Investigation File #140-35907 (1957-1970): Henry Charles Bukowski, Jr. (a.k.a. Charles Bukowski). [no publisher, n.d.] In 1968 the FBI and Charles Bukowski's employer, the US Postal Service, took offense to some of his writings and conducted an investigation into his background, with the result being this FBI file. This copy has a library tape binding, unlike the relatively more common comb-bound copies, presumably obtained via the Freedom of Information Act. Near fine, with traces of shelfwear and a faint crease near spine crown.
