Christie Malry's Own Double-Entry, B.S. Johnson
First UK edition, first printing (preceding the American edition) of Johnson's penultimate novel, a metafictional account of a disaffected young man, Christie Malry, who applies the principles of double-entry bookkeeping to his own life, "crediting" himself against society in an increasingly violent manner for perceived "debits."
London: William Collins Sons & Co., 1973. Publisher's original cloth, spine lettered in gilt; pp. 180, [7]. An about near fine copy in a very good, unclipped dust jacket.
