Dragon's Teeth, Upton Sinclair

Very rare gift copy of Sinclair's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, signed by Sinclair to the front free endpaper. The gift copies, published by the author, were distributed to friends and acquaintances prior to the publication of the trade edition.

New York and Pasadena: Self-published, 1942. Wraps with dust jacket, pp. [1], viii, 632. In poor condition. Text block still sound, with scattered minor soiling to edges, number erased from title page, spine replaced with paper and title/author written in. Jacket is split at the joints, with repair tape to edges, shelfwear, light soiling. Thin cardboard boards inserted at front and back, with the back one loose. A great candidate for restoration or rebinding, very rare.
