East of Eden, John Steinbeck
A very attractive third printing of Steinbeck's most ambitious novel and the one which he considered his magnum opus, printed in the same year as the first.
New York: The Viking Press, 1952. Publisher's original green cloth boards, spine lettered in black against a brown background, front board lettered in black; pp. (vi), 602. A near fine copy in a very good or better, price-clipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square with minor wear to board edges. Internally clean and fine. Jacket shows just light shelfwear and rubbing with toning to the spine. A very presentable copy, protected in archival mylar.
