God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater, Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
First edition, first printing of Vonnegut's fifth novel, a brilliant work of postmodern satire which introduced readers to Kilgore Trout and gave context to his following novel, Slaughterhouse-Five.
New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1965. Publisher's cloth-backed boards; pp. 217, [1]. A near fine copy in a very good or better, unclipped dust jacket. Binding is sturdy and square, minimal wear to boards, internally clean. The dust jacket is roughly 1/8" taller than the book itself, yet retains the $4.95 price and 0465 date code (as the first printing jacket) so this is presumably a production error. Jacket shows light shelfwear, rubbing and toning. Protected in archival mylar.
