H is for Heroin: A Teen-age Narcotic Tells Her Story, David Hulburd
First edition, first printing of this classic drug exploitation tale of the young Amy Burton, a "confirmed dope addict." With the iconic dust jacket designed by Vincent Necura and photo by Lotti Jacobi.
Garden City: Doubleday & Company, 1952. A very good copy in a good, unclipped dust jacket. Binding is tight and sturdy, slight lean to spine. Sunning and rubbing to board extremities, foxing to prelims, bookplate to front pastedown, else internally clean. Jacket shows shelfwear, rubbing, chipping and a few tears, with an area of loss to front panel, protected in archival mylar. Uncommon.
