First edition, first printing of Wallace’s magnum opus. First state jacket with William T. Vollmann’s name misspelled on the back panel.   

Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1996. Publisher’s blue cloth-backed boards; pp. (iv), 1079. An about near fine copy in a near fine, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight and sturdy, minimal shelfwear to boards with a few faint scuffs, a few tiny nicks to text block edges, no remainder mark internally clean.. Jacket shows just traces of shelfwear. A very presentable copy, protected in archival mylar.
