Mourning Becomes Electra, Eugene O'Neill

First edition, first printing of Oneill's play cycle, consisting of Homecoming, The Hunted and The Haunted. The play premiered on Broadway at the Guild Theatre on 26 October 1931 where it ran for 150 performances before closing in March 1932, starring Lee Baker (Ezra), Earle Larimore (Orin), Alice Brady (Lavinia) and Alla Nazimova (Christine).

New York: Horace Liveright, 1931. Publisher's original decorated teal cloth, illustrated endpapers; pp. 256. Dust jacket art by Robert Edmond Jones. A fine copy in an about very good, unclipped dust jacket showing light shelfwear and a few chips, protected in archival mylar.
