Boston, MA: Little, Brown and Company, 1953. Original black boards, spine titled in gilt, first issue dust jacket; pp. (xi), 302. A very good copy in a good or better, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square, gilt lettering bright. Light dampstaining to top corners and edges of boards, minor smudging to top edge of text block, internally clean and fine. Jacket remains birght and vivid, showing shelfwear and rubbing with chipping to extremities, faint dampstaining to corners, protected in archival mylar.
