3 Days of Peace & Music
Aquarian Exposition: Woodstock Music & Art Fair
Scarce original program for the most famous and influential festival in rock history, along with an original Saturday ticket and a rare pre‑festival promotional flyer that advertises Woodstock at its initially planned location (often referenced as “Hambling” or Wallkill) before permits fell through—ultimately forcing organizers to relocate the festival to Max Yasgur’s dairy farm in Bethel, NY. Featuring the full three day program on the final page and full-page stylized advertisements for the acts, including Jimi Hendriz, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Band, The Who, Grateful Dead, Iron Butterfly, Joan Baez, Richie Havens, Joe Cocker, Ravi Shankar and others. Due to the heavy rains and mud, the majority of the programs did not survive, this copy being one of the survivors.
Woodstocky, NY: Concert Hall Publications, Inc., 1969. Stapled pamphlet, unpaginated, first and last leaves printed on tissue paper. First edition, with the "f" on the cover printed over a flower and thus mostly illegible, corrected in reprints. In about good condition, showing moderate water damage and soiling throughout, indicating that this program was distributed and used during the festival. Light general shelfwear and soiling to wraps. Program, ticket and flyer protected in archival sleeves.
