Something About a Soldier, Charles Willeford
Signed first edition, first printing

New York: Random Housem 1986. First edition, first printing, signed by Willeford to the flyleaf. A near fine copy in a near fine or better unclipped dust jacket. Binding is tight, sturdy and square. A trace of foxing to top edge of textblock and flyleaf, else clean. Jacket shows a hint of shelfwear, protected in archival mylar. A very presentable copy of the second part of Willeford's autiobiography, covering Willeford's first hitches in the peacetime Army and Air Force in the Philippines and California, from age sixteen to age twenty.
