The Place of Love, Karl Shapiro. First edition, first printing. Melbourne: A Comment Publication, 1942. A good copy, with a light dampstain to bottom corner, two pieces carefully cut out of title page, a newspaper article affixed to verso of rear wrap, and a small bit of adhesive to verso of front wrap. A scarce copy of Shapiro's third book of poetry, published while he was stationed in Australia during World War II.
