The Sirens of Titan, Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
First U.K. edition, first printing of Vonnegut's second novel, considered one of his best and a work of "excellent satire" (Anatomy of Wonder).
London: Victor Gollancz, 1962. Original red cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine. A very good copy in a very good, price-clipped dust jacket. Binding is tight and sturdy, minimal wear to boards. Foxing to the first and last handful of pages, as well as to edge of text block, light offsetting to endpapers, small bookshop sticker to front pastedown. Jacket remains bright and vivid with a touch of shelfwear and toning to spine, protected in archival mylar.
