London: Secker and Warburg, 1993. Publisher's original stiff wraps with French folds; pp. (viii), 344. An about very good copy. Binding tight and sturdy with a concavity and creasing to spine, light wear, rubbing and toning to wraps with a tiny closed tear to front edge, scattered foxing to edge of text block. Minor smudge to rear endpaper, else internally clean. Increasingly scarce.
