First edition, first printing of Welsh's explosive debut novel, a cult classic that served as the basis for Danny Boyle's 1996 film of the same name. Signed by Welsh to the half-title with the message "Choose Life!" 

London: Secker and Warburg, 1993. Publisher's original stiff wraps with French folds; pp. (viii), 344. 1 of 1,000 copies printed. A very good copy. Binding remains tight, typical lean and minor concavity to spine. Light general shelfwear, rubbing and creasing to wraps, traces of foxing to edges of texblock. Internally clean with no markings.
