First edition, first printing of one of King's best-known horrors, winner of the British Fantasy Award and basis for both a television adaptation and, more recently, a two part film adaptation. 

New York: Viking, 1986. Quarter black cloth over paper boards, stamped in red; pp. 1138, [4]. An about near fine copy in a very good or better, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square, seemingly unread. Minimal wear to boards with none of the usual rubbing to text block edges.. Internally clean and fine. Minor shelfwear to jacket with a small spot of laminate lifting at base of front panel. Very presentable, protected in archival mylar.
