Death in Four Letters, Francis Beeding
First edition, first printing in the rare first state dust jacket priced at 7/6 to the spine. London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1935. A very good or better copy in an about good dust jacket. Binding is tight and sturdy, minimal wear to boards with some softening at the spine tips, a bit of spotting to the top edge of text block. Internally clean with no markings. Jacket shows some rubbing and has benefited from restoration, which included securing a few closed tears and filling in some areas of loss at joint ends and at the spine heel. A few letters of the publisher's name have been written in with apen at the spine heel. Presents well in archival mylar.
