First edition, first printing of Davis' early autobiography. Signed and inscribed by Davis to the title page in the year of publication. 

New York: Random House, 1974. Publisher's original red cloth, spine lettered in black; pp. x, [2], 400, [1]. First edition identified by the "First Edition" statement and the number line ending in "2", which was standard for Random House at the time. A near fine copy in an about near fine, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains sturdy with a minor light, minimal wear to boards, internally clean. Jacket remains bright and vivid, with the spine unsunned, minor shelfwear present. A nice copy, protected in archival mylar.
