Signed limited first edition of this previously unpublished work, showing “the Valley” through the eyes of a young John Divola who would soon become an internationally-recognized artist with the exhibition and publication of his much more conceptual “Zuma” series.  Officially issued in 350 numbered and signed copies, this copy is an Artist's Proof as denoted by "AP" to the colophon. Signed by Divola on a label tipped in to the back cover.

Original silk cloth-covered boards, title embossed on covers and spine, photo-illustrated dust jacket, silk cloth-covered slipcase; pp. 60 pages with 46 duotone plates. A fine copy in near fine dust jacket, showing just traces of rubbing from the slipcase. Slipcase also in near fine condition with minor rubbing.
