An extraordinarily accurate reproduction of van Vogt's second book. With nearly identical paper weight, size, typeface, art, wrappers, finish, and texture as the original, published by Hadley in 1947. With the original slipcase and with the publisher's slip laid in. 

Shelton, CT: The First Edition Library, circa 1990s. Original brown boards, spine lettered in yellow; pp. 224. Traces of foxing to text block edges, else a fine copy in a near fine dust jacket with the spine a touch faded. Slipcase fine.
