A Descriptive Bibliography of the Primary Publications of Charles Bukowski
Aaron Krumhansl
First trade edition, one of 750 hardcover copies, of Krumhansl’s detailed bibliography of Bukowski’s primary publications. Following the bibliographical method developed by Donald Gallup, the volume documents more than 150 books, chapbooks, and broadsides published from 1948 through 1998, with title-page transcriptions, collations, and publishing histories—an important reference for navigating Bukowski’s often complex small-press editions.
Santa Rosa, CA: Black Sparrow Press, 1999. Octavo; 204 pages, including index. Portrait frontispiece and black-and-white illustrations throughout. Publisher’s gray printed paper-covered boards over black cloth spine, printed paper spine label, and red endpapers, in the original clear acetate dust jacket. The acetate jacket shows just light shelfwear with has a partially removed barcode sticker to the rear.
