Limited first edition of Beckett's short prose text, written "in the last person," featuring illustrations by Edward Gorey. Limited to 200 numbered copies signed by both Beckett and Gorey, of which this is number 141. This was the first of two Beckett-Gorey collaborations, followed by Beginning to End which was published in 1988. 

New York: Gotham Book Mart, 1976. Quarter morocco over paper-covered boards, spine lettered in gilt; pp. 23. Just a hint of rubbing to spine heel, else a fine copy in a near find slipcase showing just traces of shelfwear. A very nice copy.
