First edition, first printing of this collection of drawings by the iconic designer Herbert Bayer, considered to have been the last living member of the Bauhaus. Featuring 42 color and black and white drawings, a facsimile reprint of a handwritten introduction by Herbert Bayer, foreword by Otto Karl Bach and an introduction by Herbert Bayer. Housed in glossy white wraps within a red slipcase. 

Chicago, IL: Paul Theobold, 1961. Glossy white wrap folder, red slipcase with white circle and lettered in black; 42 loose drawings + 8 pp booklet. Illustrations, booklet and white wraps in near fine condition, with just traces of shelfwear and toning. Slipcase worn with a few splits starting, sunning along edges.
