Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders

Vincent Bugliosi with Curt Gentry

First edition, first printing of the best-selling true crime book in history, signed and inscribed by both Bugliosi and Gentry to the flyleaf. Detailing the Manson Family murders and the subsequent trial, and written by the prosecutor, Vincent Bugliosi, the book provides a firsthand account of the case against Charles Manson and his followers. A classic, scarce signed. =

New York: W.W. Norton and Company, 1974. Publisher's original grey paper covered boards over black cloth spine, lettered in gilt; pp. xvii, [1], 502. A good copy in a good, unclipped dust jacket. Binding a touch shaken but still sturdy with slight lean, spine rubbed and concaved, minimal wear to boards. Offsetting to endpapers, date and owner's address label to front pastedown, else quite clean internally. Jacket shows general shelfwear and rubbing, light dampstain to verso. Presents well in archival mylar.
