House of Leaves, Mark Z. Danielewski
First edition, first printing of Danielewski's brilliant debut novel. Signed by the twice by the author as "JT" (Johnny Truant), once to the first blank and again to the dedication with the date "3/23/00". A scarce copy of this "demonically brilliant book" whose publishing history is nearly as difficult to pin down as the text itself, indicated by the "2nd Edition" statement to the title page, referencing that it was originally serialized on the internet prior to being published in book form, here as the first edition, first printing.
