IT, Stephen King
First UK edition, first printing of one of King's best-known horrors, winner of the British Fantasy Award and basis for both a television adaptation and, more recently, a two part film adaptation.
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1986. Publisher's original black cloth, spine lettered in gilt; pp. 912. Printed on lightly toned machine-made paper with faint laid/chain-line pattern inherent to the stock. An about very good copy in a very good, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square, seemingly unread. Minimal wear to boards, scattered spotting to top edge of text block, faint dampstain to foredge, internally not affected. Jacket shows minor shelfwear. A presentable copy, protected in archival mylar.
