London: William Heinemann Ltd, 1951. Original grey cloth, spine lettered in gilt. 237 pp. Very good or better in a very good, unclipped dust jacket. Binding firm, with minimal wear to boards and a slight lean to the spine. Owner’s signature to flyleaf and minor offsetting to endpapers; otherwise internally clean and fine. Jacket shows traces of shelf wear, a couple of closed tears along the spine folds, and toning to the spine and rear panel; original 10s 6d price present. Protected in archival mylar.
